Although Vasudeva had leprosy, he was so eager to meet Lord Chaitanya that he walked many miles to meet Him. When he eventually met Lord Chaitanya, the Lord embraced Vasudeva and cured his disease. Fully enlivened, Vasudeva chanted Lord Chaitanya’s glories to everyone he met as he made his return journey home.
