Narada Muni Visits Shrila Vayasadeva

Narada Muni arrived at Srila Vyasadeva’s cottage just as Vyasadeva had finished rewriting the Vedas.

Vyasadeva’s intention had been to make the Vedas easier to understand for everyone in the material world for all time to come.

Vyasadeva had tried extremely hard, but when he reviewed his work, he felt disappointed and dissatisfied.

Narada Muni pointed out Vyasadeva’s shortcomings, but he encouraged him to continue writing and told him how to proceed, and by following Narada’s instructions, Vyasadeva went on to write the Srimad Bhagavatam.
