Krishna Lures Kalayavana to his Death by Fire
When Kalayavana was preparing to attack Mathura by surrounding it with his vast army of demonic warriors, Krishna sped to the north coast and constructed the underwater city of Dwaraka. Krishna then immediately transferred all the citizens of Mathura to Dwaraka for safety.
When Krishna returned to Mathura, Kalayavana and his army were waiting to fight the Lord, but to their surprise, Krishna entered the battlefield unarmed and unprotected.
Kalayavana wanted a fair fight. So, he dropped his battle equipment and followed Krishna on foot as the Lord walked through the battlefield and into a mountain cave.
In the cave, Kalayavana saw a sleeping man. Assuming that the man was Krishna, Kalayavana kicked him with full force. The sleeping man woke up furious, and simply by glancing at Kalayavana, he burned him to ashes.
